Tampons are a good option because they are small, nearly invisible, and swim-safe; however, they can be difficult to insert and may cause vaginal irritation or toxic shock syndrome.

But don’t be scared Tampons are completely safe to use, and children as young as 10 years old can use it if they are comfortable with them. In fact, many tweens and teens may prefer to begin with tampons, particularly if they participate in sports or other activities.

How To Insert Tampons.

  • After thoroughly washing your hands with soap and water, unwrap the tampon. The slim applicator tip should be rounded, and strings should protrude from the No-Slip Grip Applicator’s bottom. Do not use if any flaws are discovered.

 

  • Gently pull on strings to make sure they are firmly attached.
  • Make yourself at home. Try sitting with your knees apart on the toilet or standing with one foot on the toilet seat.
  • Insert the tampon applicator gently into your vagina: use your thumb and middle finger to hold the No-Slip Grip® applicator plunger in place. Insert the applicator tip at a 45-degree angle into the vagina. Now, gently slide the smooth, tapered applicator all the way into your vagina until your fingers are in contact with your body.

 

  • Insert the tampon: with your pointer finger, push the plunger all the way into the barrel. This will cause the tampon to come out. The plunger should be inside the barrel at this point. Pull out the tampon applicator while still holding the No-Slip Grip® plunger. The tampon should now be comfortably inserted inside you in its precise location, with the strings outside your body.
  • After inserting the tampon, return the used applicator to the discreet wrapper and discard. REMEMBER NOT TO FLUSH THE PLASTIC APPLICATOR.

  • Relax your muscles before removing the tampon. Put yourself in the position you used during insertion. Pull the strings down gently. The tampon should easily slide out.
  • The used tampon should not be flushed down the toilet. Place the tampon in an appropriate waste container after wrapping it in toilet paper.
  • Wash Your Hands: Always wash your hands after removing or inserting tampons.
